Jira Software has five dashboard templates:

  • Overview of Jira software issues

  • Jira Software Organization Overview

  • Jira Software Overview

  • Jira Software Project Overview

  • Jira Software - simple project overview

Overview of Jira software issues

This dashboard shows overall project progress as well as the project completion date based on the number of open cases and progress made in the past year.

You can filter the entire dashboard by Jira project, release priority, and issue type.

This dashboard includes the following charts:

Project progress

Number of issues per issue status

Estimated expiration date

Calculate the project due date based on the number of cases resolved in the past year and the number of current cases opened

outstanding priority issues

Number of open cases grouped by priority

Open topics by priority and age

Number of open cases grouped by priority and age group of open cases

For example, "51-100" refers to issues that are between 51 and 100 days old.

Investigation details

Displays the following details for each issue that meets the filter criteria:

  • release the key

  • Work

  • TYPE OF QUESTION

  • priorities

  • condition

  • Date of creation

  • UPDATED

  • expiration date

You can filter this list by project, priority and case type.

Jira Software Organization Overview

This dashboard shares many of the same Agile metrics as the Jira Software - Project Overview dashboard, but allows you to compare these metrics to other Jira projects in your case. In addition, the Quick Look at the Top section contains organization-level metrics that are useful for organization administrators who want to learn more about their Jira instance.

For each project, this graph calculates the net work flow, which is the difference between completed submitted cases and new submitted cases during the selected date range.

Supply per piece

Measure team performance by counting the number of cases completed per project per week

Response of each item

It measures the time required to solve a given problem

defect rate per piece

For each item,defect rateis the percentage of defects closed in the selected date range out of the total number of closed cases. For this graph alack ofis a question of the "wrong" type.

You can use it to measure the improvement of project quality over time.

This chart can be filtered by the calendar control labeled Current Date Range, Project, Project Type, and Release Type.

This dashboard provides an overview of your entire Jira instance. You can filter the entire dashboard by project name or Jira project type.

This dashboard provides flexible metrics that provide productivity insights at various stages of the software lifecycle.

The entire dashboard can be filtered by the Calendar control labeled Current Date Range, Item Name, and Item Type.

This dashboard includes the following charts:

Measure the team's focus on the issues they committed to

Questions were askedThis is a case that moves to the "pending" status category. A case is completed when it finally enters the "Completed" status category.

This chart calculates the net weekly workflow for the selected date range. Net Workflow is the difference between completed cases submitted and new cases submitted in the same week.

defect rate

Tendefect rateis the percentage of defects completed within the selected date range for each project, out of the total number of issues completed. Demerits are 'wrong' type questions.

You can use it to measure the improvement of project quality over time.

In addition to the other controls on this dashboard, this chart can be filtered by issue type.

Measure team performance by counting the number of cases completed per project per week

responsiveness

It measures the time required to solve a given problem

For each project, this graph calculates the average cycle time for cases completed that week. Cycle time is the total time (in days) the problem takes from start to finish. More specifically, it is the time elapsed between the first transition of the case to the "in progress" status category and the last transition to the "completed" status category.

Jira Software - simple project overview

This dashboard is designed to better understand productivity by focusing primarily on open and resolved issues rather than overall team productivity. This dashboard can be filtered by Jira project name and contractor, and allows you to view details such as the average age of issues and the risk they face.

You can filter the entire dashboard by Calendar control, Project, and payee account ID.

This dashboard includes the following charts:

Problems created and problems solved

Displays the number of issues created and resolved per day in the selected date range

Create and resolve issues in a timely manner

Shows the number of issues created and resolved per month

The total number of issues created and resolved is a running total.

Data distribution shows days to resolution for the following issue types: Bugs, Stories, and Tasks

Project progress

Show the number of topics per problem status

Shows the average age of the issue by issue type and then by priority
