First, you need to log in to your account. Note that only Jira admins are allowed to customize dashboards and choose which items to include.

Step 1: Create a new dashboard
Our first step is to click on the dashboard icon in the main menu and tap Create Dashboard.

In the pop-up window, you can enter all the relevant details of the dashboard.
For example, choose a dashboard name ("Name" field) and include a short description ("Description" field).

If you tap the dropdown button under Access, you can select an option based on your needs. Here you can grant access to different employees of your company.

Finally, click Save to open a blank Jira dashboard.

Step 2: Add the gadget to your Jira dashboard
Gadgets are undoubtedly the most valuable tool of the Jira desktop. This is because these are the main indicators of the data.
To add a widget, simply click the "Add Widget" tab in the upper right corner of the blank dashboard screen.

You'll see a window with several different widgets you can add to your dashboard - just select the ones you think are appropriate.

Each gadget has an "Add Gadget" button to the right of its name.
When you're done selecting gadgets, just tap Close to return to the main window.
Step 3: Customize the add-on gadget
No matter which gadget you add, each gadget has its own unique settings that you can change and customize.
By customizing your gadgets, you can choose how data and information are displayed.
To start editing, click on the ellipses to the right of the gadget.
As shown, you can change the widget's color, rename it, delete it, and more.
To change the gadget settings, click Configure.

Don't forget to hit the "Save" button when you're done making changes.
Step 4: Rearrange
You can change the layout of the Jira dashboard by clicking "Change Layout" in the upper right corner of the dashboard's main menu.

You can choose from five layout options.

When you are done, the dashboard will automatically change according to the layout.
Step 5: Share your Jira dashboard
